Your First Visit
If you are planning to visit Mansfield Baptist Church for the first time, here is some information you might find helpful.

How do I dress?
Dress comfortably. While some people dress up (dresses for ladies or coat and tie for gentlemen), many wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday mornings. We will have people dressed in jeans to suits and everywhere in between. You wear what you would feel most comfortable wearing to church. Sunday nights and Wednesday nights are always casual. Don’t worry about what you wear, just come experience the presence of God in worship.
What do I bring?
If you have a Bible, bring it with you to church. If you do not have one, Bibles are available in the sanctuary for you to use. Our Pastor, Jeff Perkins, provides a teaching outline for his Sunday messages. A Bible will help you follow along in worship as well as in Sunday School.
When do I need to arrive?
Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of Sunday School or Worship. Sunday School begins at 9:45 AM. Morning Worship begins at 11:00 AM. Sunday evening Worship begins at 6:00 PM . Wednesday evening activities begin at 7:00 PM.
What about my children?
Mansfield Baptist Church has excellent Preschool and Children’s ministries. Greeters and Welcome Center volunteers will be glad to direct you to the appropriate class. For the security of your children, each preschool child will need to register at our SASE (Safe and Secure Environment) Center Desk. You will receive a numbered tag that corresponds with your child. If your child needs you during the worship service, that number will appear in the lower right hand corner of the screen in the Sanctuary which notifies you to slip out and tend to the need of your child. Only the person with the numbered tag will be able to pick the child up from the class after worship. We take the safety and security of your child very seriously.
Where do I park?
We reserve special parking for our guests. As you approach the church, look for “Visitor Parking” signs for up-close parking near the main entrance.
